  • State Incentives
  • Local Rebates
  • Federal Tax Credits
  • SCE, SDG&E and PG&E  are eligible for cash rebates

State Incentives

The amount of rebate varies by program.  These incentives are available because of real power problems for the utility companies.  The  incentive level available is determined by current available incentive in each utility area per customer class.  Currently PG&E offers $1.10/watt but will be dropping to $.65 per watt very soon!

Local Rebates

Rebates have been set up to encourage people within their county to install a  solar system and reduce the amount of power being consumed.  This is being offered by incentives through your local municipal utilities.

Federal Tax Credits

A tax credit is more valuable than an equivelant tax deduction.  A tax credit reduces tax dollar- for-dollar.  Homeowners who install solar enegy systems, can receive a 30% tax credit.
